Enrol in our year-round, comprehensive online Maths course designed to give students confidence in the KS3 national curriculum, and push them beyond it to expand their knowledge and skills in preparation for GCSE study.
Classes are 70 minutes long and have a maximum of 6 students of similar academic abilities.
Classes cost £42 a lesson.
Course Description
In this course, students are challenged to become fluent in the demands of the UK maths curriculum and use the mastery approach to respond to increasingly difficult problems rapidly and accurately. It develops resilience to increasingly complicated problems and ensures that students are equipped with the skills to break them down into simpler steps to find solutions.
In particular, this course ensures students are equipped for the studying of advanced maths pushing beyond the UK curriculum. In particular, complex word problems, and the critical thinking and reasoning skills needed to provide justification or proof using mathematical language in English. Students in this course come to appreciate the power of mathematics and develop a sense of curiosity and enjoyment for it and the connections to other subjects and everyday life.
