Seven Springs Education is proud to have been selected as a National Tutoring Programme (NTP) approved Tuition Partner in addition to our provision of School-Led Tutoring. The NTP’s rigorous analysis of our experience with closing attainment gaps, particularly for disadvantaged students, and their checks on our quality, safeguarding and evaluation standards means that schools can feel secure when using our services.
The National Tutoring Programme is part of the government’s Education Recovery programme to support students whose education has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The NTP provides access to high-quality tutoring like ours by subsiding costs, making quality tutoring accessible to all.
Seven Springs Education provides two routes for tutoring.
Via the Tuition Partner route, 70% of the cost of tutoring is subsidised, and schools can match up with a tuition partner like us using the NTP’s dedicated Tuition Hub.
On the School-Led Tutoring route, 75% of the cost of tutoring is subsidised, with schools having more flexibility to decide on how the tutoring is supplied and the administration of the course.
Both programmes enable students to receive tailored tutoring in small groups of up to 3 students per class. It is recommended that schools take advantage of both tutoring routes to get the most out of the recovery programme.Students who receive small group tuition may make, on average, 4 months of additional progress, and students who receive one-to-one tuition may make, on average, 5 months additional progress (read more here)
Our parent organisation is based in Hong Kong, providing our team with almost two decades of ESOL/EAL experience. Our organisation has worked with numerous schools and NGOs to help students improve their skills in literacy (English and Chinese), numeracy, and science. Furthermore, our eLearning platforms have supported students at 250 schools this year alone. We are passionate about expanding access to high-quality tuition to students everywhere.
Connecting with us via the National Tutoring Programme enables schools to access additional government funding for tuition. On the Tuition Partner route, your school only pays for 30% of the tuition costs, making tailored support attainable for every child.
If your school is eligible for a School-Led Tutoring grant, you can also use this to fund tutoring with us, paying only 25% of the tuition costs.>
On the Tuition Partner route, schools receive 70% subsidised tuition, meaning it costs as little as £4.56 per hr/per student (your 30% can be funded through budgets such as Recovery Premium or Pupil Premium).
Schools eligible for School-Led Tutoring grants can also use this to fund tutoring with us, paying only 25% of the tuition costs, meaning lessons cost as little as £3.60 per hr/per student.
